Broken Pieces of Me

A life so full and strong

became shattered and broken

in a gust of wind.

All the pieces, scattered and flew carelessly into the wind

Now looking at my life,

what have I left, but my broken pieces.

What can I do with these broken pieces but fling them way up high

to toss them free from my sight.

What good are broken pieces, when you have no goal for your soul?

The Lord spoke to my soul and said, oh my sweet child, pick up your broken pieces,

and turn them into pieces of a dream.

Put them together and make them a beaming light to

shine bright in the world for all to see.

The Lord continued to speak to my soul, he dear child what is wrong with thee?

Then the Lord said take these broken pieces, and put them together and make

them whole.

Then the Lord said you can make them whole, and create a beautiful picture

through me.

Then I picked up my pieces, and put them together, and the Lord began to speak

through me, I looked up and said oh dear Lord what will you have of me.

...And then the Lord said be encouraged my child, and come follow me.

Then I followed the Lord to take a look at the picture to see what He had created

out of me.

I looked at the picture, and I said of my God is this me I see.

Then the Lord said yes my child, I made your broken pieces whole unto Me.

I continued to look at this beautiful picture, and I said this could not be me!

Then the Lord said, come on my child I will show you what I will do with thee.

Then the Lord took my hand He grabbed it real tight, and squeezed my hand.

I said oh my God is this the annointing flowing through me. Then the Lord said

indeed my child, I will take you higher until you reach the sky.

...And then I said oh dear Lord how can I reach the sky? And then He said back to

me it is in my eyes look at me and I will take you high. I said oh my God He is using me!

After He used me He said to me, I am not done just come and rest with me. I said oh my God you are dealing with me? Then the Lord said this is your stead, stand firm and take this land you will be ready to be with Me. I said oh my God what are you saying to Me?

Then the Lord said don't you see my child you have already been walking real high!

Then I said oh my God I never been this high, He said to me yes my child you are walking real high. Then I said oh my Lord could this be me you are flying so high?

Then the Lord said didn't you know I was using thee? I said oh my, you are using me? Then the Lord said open your eyes, and see what I have done through Me.
