Buy A Coffee Machine Online

Whether you have your first pot of coffee at home or buy it at Starbuck's Coffee, or Dunkin Donuts all the world loves coffee. But better than that I love, love, love my coffee! Gotta have at least two cups before I start my day. I remember the days I would drink coffee at work all day long. Pretty soon the habit of drinking coffee at work all day was not enough. OOOhhh I soon discovered the world of flavored, and gourmet coffee. I then developed a whole new ritual on my commuter to downtown Chicago to work. I would get off at Adams, and head over to the Palmer House to have a cup of Hazelnut coffee. Delicious it was! My love for coffee grew, and grew until one day my office manager said, "I am going out for a cappuccino". I stopped her in mid sentence and said, "a cappa of who?" (mind you this was back in the 80's) She tried to explain to me what it was, but the look on my face told her I did not have a clue.

She stated to me, "Come on let's go." Inside I was saying yippee I get to take a capp-a-what-a-some-thing break. We walked for about 2 1/2 blocks before we arrived at Gloria Jeans. The line was so long i said to my boss, "What in the world is going on?" The guy in front of us turned around and stated, "Iced coffee on a hot day like today everyone wants i--ii--cc--ee coffee". We finally made our way to the front of the line my boss ordered 2 iced mocha's, the brista asked whip cream? I said, "Whip cream?" My boss just tapped my hand, and she said yes please. Oh I was in Mocha heaven at first sip!

And my quest began at home trying to learn how to make cappuccinos at home. It was a learning process trying different cappuccino machines. I started with the less expensive espresso machines, which worked great for a beginner such as I was.

It was to funny the first time I tried making cappuccino. Not only did I have milk flying all over the place, I ducked so I would not get hit in the face. It took several tried at really learning how to make great cappuccino. Either I had it to strong, or to weak. I bought a little cheap machine, but it was not long before I graduated to a better espresso maker. I purchased the DeLonghi Espresso maker. I enjoyed this espresso machine much better than the cheaper one. With the cheap cappuccino machine it was not long before the little rubber tip on the handle came off. Well, after all I practiced with it so much I did not complain about such a small imperfection.

Having an espresso machine was a big deal for me, but staying within my budget was a bigger deal. Maybe I am just a little kooky, but I just love all things coffee. I could not afford the high end home espresso machines, so I tried the best my money could buy. The DeLonghi espresso machine makes a great cup of espresso, and it is well built, and has lasted me for years now. Perhaps one day I will graduate again to be able to afford the grand daddy of expensive home espresso machines, but for now I am happy with the one I have.

I learned about coffee presses some years later believe it or not by watching Oprah. One year she had it as a gift idea for Christmas. I was enchanted by this little coffee maker. I began looking online to buy my coffee press to find out for myself it it really made coffee as good as she said it did. I know it may sound corny, but it is the truth of how I discovered coffee presses. I ordered my press, and anxiously awaited for it to arrive.

As I waited I had already purchased coarse ground coffee from Starbuck's. I was ready to make coffee! The day finally came my coffee press arrived I felt excitement rushing through my veins. I preceded to wash my press, get it nice and clean (don't like the factory smell). I made my first cup of coffee with my new press. I was totally shocked!! What a difference the coffee tasted AWESOME!!

It really was one of the best tasting cups of coffee I had ever had. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the full flavor of the coffee from this little magical coffee maker. The only downside to the coffee press your coffee does not stay hot for long. You really have to make and drink.

Other than that I really loved the coffee made by the press. I thought it is the cutest little coffee maker, and it does a fantastic job of making excellent coffee!

I just love all things coffee. I love antiques as well, and could not resist from making this silver coffee pot as part of this hub. I was just sitting and thinking, and I had the idea why not write a hub on how I first was introduced to espresso, and the wonderful world of cappuccino. After my boss introduced me to the finer life of coffees, I was hooked.

I do not know if anyone else out there will buy two different brands of coffee, but I sure will. One for everyday, and I must have my Starbuck's.   Nothing beats the Community Brand coffee of Louisiana, now there's some real stuff for you!

Flavored coffee to me is best after a meal.  It makes for a liquid desert.  My favorite gourment and flavored coffees are, Jamacian Blue Mountian, and Hazelnut.  For my morning coffee I enjoy a medium roast, or french roast blend. 

To make a great cup of fresh brewed coffee, one should begin with cold water, and not lukewarm water, or plain tap water.  Cold drinking water, or distilled if you prefer will brew a great tasting cup of coffee.   To give your coffee a bonus shake cinnamon in your grounds, plus cinnamon is a great antioxidant.

Cleaning your coffee maker depends on if you are a heavy drinker or light.  Once a month should be sufficient.   But if you are a coffee drinker who lives with the coffee machine on, once every two weeks should suffice.  An easy way to clean your coffee machine is to use one cup of white distilled vinegar, and two cups of water.  Once you have poured your water, and vinegar in your coffee maker do not discard you solution out of the pot, let it sit for approximately 15 minutes to loosen, and clean the stains off the pot.   Rinse any vinegar residue by running water through your coffee maker for two for times.
