You Can Do It!!

Quit smoking now! Hey you put that cigarette down! Do you believe you can quit smoking by Monday? You can. You can actually quit smoking in 1 hour with hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy has a 66% success rate of individuals who successful quit smoking. The first time I heard of being hypnotized to quit smoking was years ago while working for Hibernia Bank. I was having lunch with one of my co-workers when I noticed she did not light up after her meal.

I lit my cigarettte, and asked her if she had quit smoking? Indeed she had. She stated I was hypotized to quit smoking. I said hypnotized! I really did not believe it. She stated "not only have I  quit smoking, but I do not crave cigarettes". I did not try being hypnotized because I did not want to stop smoking back then.

To stop smoking being hypnotized is just one way to quit smoking.

Quit Smoking - The Old Fashion Way

Quit smoking the old fashion way -- cold turkey. No doubt about it trying to quit is hard. It took me years to make up my mind to quit smoking. The menthol flavor had me in it clutches very strongly. I was not trying to shake the grip a loose, I romanced the flavor of a menthol cigarette for as long as I could.

One day the cigarette smell started to get to me. UGH! The time to quit smoking was approaching, and I knew it. I continued to ignore the smell and kept right on puffing. In the good old days folks could quit smoking cold turkey. What happened? Have the percentage of nicotine in cigarettes increased? I once had a conversation with a fellow ex-smoker who said "I could not have quit without nicorette, but I am glad I did".

The addiction to nicotine is a difficult challegne, but one can conquer the smoking addition, and win! There are many methods and/or ways to help an individual quit smoking. There are a multitude of how to quit smoking support groups. To find the nearest support group or to get help to quit smoking call:

Quit Smoking With Laser

Using laser therapy as far as I know is one of the newer treatments in helping individuals to quit smoking. It will cost you $300 bucks, but it is non-invasive, no pain, no cutting whatsoever. To give you an ideal imagine it as a light therapy slowly hoovering over your face, ears, and then moving to your hands. According to what I have read the Laser Technicians are able to use the laser to release energy through out your body by using the laser.

The idea here is to give you the sensation of endorphins being released through your body to help you quit smoking.

Great post! It can get pretty tough to quit smoking. I have tried a couple of times myself. I guess the third times the charm, right?

What a motivational hub page! For those who are having a hard time quitting smoking, electronic cigarettes are a great way to slowly wean yourself off. Not only are they safer than traditional cigarettes, but they are also available in varying nicotine levels. Quit smoking now with these electronic cigarettes by starting with a higher nicotine level and reducing it until you no longer need the nicotine.

Hi Sophieanne,

The good thing is you are only an occasional smoker. Hopeful one day you will be able to kick the habit. I was a pack a day smoker turning into a pack and a half. I loved my cigs, but I am glad I finally quit. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
