In a research problem, one of the most important facets of the problem is providing the problem statement. The problem statement is what shows the reader what the focus of a problem is. It shows the importance of the issue the statement is about and lays the groundwork for more questions and ultimately, the hypothesis. The problem statement is also what is used to report findings, lay out needs for conducting further study and explain how this problem will be presented.

One of the most important parts of the problem is coming up with the problem. Being able to formulate a clearly understandable, quantifiable question is the biggest hurdle. The second issue that arises is being able to answer said problem. The third is finding a problem that is topical, practical or likely to persist. The importance of the issue can help form a better problem statement.

Besides just the importance of the problem, the other things a well formed statement need are the context and range of the issue. Lastly, a proper theoretical framework will be used for reviewing results.

An appropriate theoretical framework helps set the boundaries of a study. With boundaries in place, staying on the track of the research problem is more easily accomplished. Being able to stay inside the lines allows for exploration of the topic without veering off into unrelated information that become available during the study.

A framework should include structured sections that need to be considered. This helps keep the researcher on task and can also help the workflow of the study. Information that is pertinent but not a part of the original framework can be added in at a later time, but ideally, the framework streamlines the workflow and keeps the project on task and on time.

A diagram can be used to illustrate a framework, with the main idea as the center. The points used are the ones that are the most important to the researcher and the ones most likely to be incorporated into the paper. The framework shows the paths the researcher will take as they attempt to solve their research problem. Due to the precise nature of the framework, it should not be much more than a page in length.

Examples and references to previous works can help focus a framework and give others an idea of the direction the researcher is going. They can also be used as a touchstone to the researcher, giving them something to compare their own findings with.

Other cultures teach that the male gender is the dominating gender and the female is sub-servant. These male workers have conflict with female managers, and see them as an offense to their manhood.

In the workplace all types of cultures can experience interpersonal communication problems and must learn to adapt to communicating in their new environment.

The educational foundation would lay the ground work for the child’s success to compete in the future job market. Being a bilingual individual is important today and has a greater demand in the workplace. Being able to speak Spanish or another language increases the probability of creating a demand for a student’s skills later in life.

The impact would be positive on school children. I had the pleasure of working for a gentleman who had three boys who attended a Montessori school. I enjoyed meeting each child and was impressed with the older child who was 10 years old and fluent in German and Russian. At the time I was unaware of a grade school child learning a language at a young age.

With more and more ethic groups entering the country it is advantageous for a child to begin early in learning a second language. Being able to speak a second language gives a child more options, and better employment opportunities. The implementation of creating a curriculum with the integration of a second language would be cost-effective and the cost of doing so would be minimal.

Great hub! My cousin is doing her PhD now and she's struggling with structuring her research.
